Henry Gonzales — Founder, Silver Line Chauffeurs
Silver Line Chauffeurs was founded by Henry Gonzales, a Southwest Colorado local with a lifelong passion for the open road and a deep commitment to safety, service, and the people he serves.
Born and raised in the Southwest, Henry has spent much of his life navigating the roads and communities that make the Southwest Colorado region unique. With more than a decade of experience in the transportation industry and 15 years holding a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), he brings extensive professional experience and a firsthand understanding of the challenges that come with mountain transportation.
Before founding Silver Line Chauffeurs, Henry successfully built and operated Purgatory Resort's transportation department, where he gained invaluable experience providing transportation in demanding mountain environments. That experience taught him what it takes to deliver premium service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism.
Today, Henry has taken that experience and turned it into a new vision for transportation in the Southwest Colorado. He founded Silver Line Chauffeurs to provide travelers with something he believes is often missing from the industry: exceptional, high-end transportation combined with transparent pricing, personalized service, and genuine customer care.
Henry and his family call Bayfield, Colorado, home. An avid snowboarder, he is no stranger to the steep, winding, and snow-covered roads leading to the region’s mountain resorts. He understands how quickly mountain weather can change and how important experience, preparation, and sound judgment are when conditions become challenging.
His connection to travel is personal as well. As a traveler himself, Henry understands the feeling of completing a long business trip or vacation and simply wanting to get home safely, comfortably, and efficiently. That perspective shapes the way he approaches every ride.
